About us
In Afghanistan, Shahtoot is the name for mulberry. My name is Jahan, and I am the sole owner of Shahtoot.
Whenever I hear the word Shahtoot, it reminds me of my childhood. I spent my childhood in a house that was full of shahtoot trees. I remember every summer we would have a shahtoot party, where all the family would sit together and enjoy the sweet mulberries from the trees.
I have always been very creative, and one day due to my creativity I ended up buying a sewing machine. After watching some videos of how to sew scrunchies, I started sewing my first scrunchie. I enjoyed it so much that I started to sew another one, soon this became a hobby. One day I decided to turn this hobby into a business, and this is how Shahtoot started.
Shahtoot is as important to me as my childhood memories, and I would like that every Shahtoot customer to have the best experience. At Shahtoot where stated products are handmade, extra care and effort is put in to make each product as perfect as we can. Shahtoot is a home business which we are hoping to grow with your help and support, so every purchase of our customers will bring Shahtoot a step closer to its goals. Therefore, we thank you for supporting our small business.
